§ 2.12.060. Miscellaneous procedures.

Latest version.
  • A.

Members of the public may request public information in person, by telephone, e-mail, fax, or by mail. An information request form shall be filled out for each request. A district employee may fill out the form if the request is not made in person.

    B.

Within ten (10) days from receipt of the request, the requester will be notified as to whether and when the requested material will be made available. The time for notification may be extended for an additional fourteen (14) days because of unusual circumstances as that term is defined in California Government Code Section 6253(c). Copies will be made available at the earliest possible time consistent with the district's work load. Members of the public shall not be allowed direct access to district files.
