§ 2.28.060. Benefits for permanent part-time employees.

  • A.

    As to unrepresented management, confidential, professional employees, an employee is a "permanent part-time employee" when he or she is permanently employed by the district and is regularly scheduled to work at least fifty (50) percent or more of the hours in a standard work week as defined in Article IV of the district's personnel policy.

    B.

    As to unrepresented management, confidential and professional employees, all "paid leaves," "leaves without pay," "employee benefit programs" and "retirement" or other benefits authorized under the district's personnel policy or otherwise shall be granted to permanent part-time employees on a pro-rated basis, subject to any limitations or qualifications established by the district.

    C.

    Temporary full-time and temporary part-time employees are not entitled to the leaves or benefits granted to permanent employees.
